Consider your financial aid options
We participate in a variety of federal, 状态, and private programs that offer loans, 奖助金, 奖学金, and other awards to students who demonstrate financial need, superior academic achievement, or other circumstances that may impact their ability to seek an education at University of Bridgeport.
Once you complete your application for admission to University of Bridgeport, you will automatically be considered for a number of our institutional 奖学金 and 奖助金.
奖助金 are a form of financial assistance based on financial need you do not need to repay. For grant consideration at University of Bridgeport, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA)* each academic calendar year.
奖助金Unlike 奖助金, loans are a form of financial assistance based on financial need that must be repaid. You must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) or more credits in order to process Federal 贷款. The most current interest rates and loan fees can be found at the Federal Student 援助 website.
贷款UB offers merit-based academic 奖学金 to new incoming students. Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive their scholarship award for the duration of the academic program providing certain conditions are met.
优点-based academic 奖学金 for first-year undergraduate students include:
- Trustee Scholarship: $25,000
- Presidential Scholarship: $20,000
- Provost’s Scholarship: $17,500
- Dean’s Achievement Scholarship: $15,000
Student employment is an opportunity for students at University of Bridgeport to learn career skills while working toward their degree. Current students can search and apply for jobs through the Career Development Office.
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA) to be considered for all types of financial aid, 包括贷款.

Monthly payment plans are available. Students and their families can make payments from their bank account or by credit card through the myUB门户.
The interest-free payment plan option can help spread all or part of student’s tuition, food and housing, and fees over several equal monthly payments. Payment plan enrollment can be completed via the UB Portal for a fee of $50 each semester.
